I am sitting on the mandap performing the rituals and the bride is yet to come.

I understand why people say that lover's fate is decided in heaven 

she was 19 when I first saw her .. I was just frozen 

I do not know how to move I did not knew how to blink I forgot to speak heck I even forgot to breathe my mouth was open ajar thank god no one noticed it ..

from the first time I saw her I liked her .. and I was the stupid who didn't not even wished her happy birthday

and trust me when I say this I curse myself every day for this.

her just one glance made my heart flutter..

I didn't knew butterfly in the stomach kind of thing existed but after meeting her I do know the feeling 

but I just couldn't wish her happy birthday 

my liking converted into unconditional love and devotion towards her in 1 year

now she was 20 

I was happy 

I was going into the celebration gathering of her birthday.

In the celebration gathering I was going to her father to express my liking towards Aathmika and ask for marriage

while walking towards her father's chamber I heard something which shocked me

princess Aathmika was in prince Abhigyan's chamber

"हम आपसे बोहोत प्रेम करते है अभिज्ञान हा जानते है महसूस करने मे एक साल लग गया हमे किंतु अब आप हमारी स्वास स्वास मे बसे हैं, अभिज्ञान नही तो आत्मिका भी नही|"

(I love you very much, Abhigyan, I know it took me a year to realise it, but now you are in my every  breath. if there will be no you them I will also not be there)

It was princess Aathmika's voice .. and I knew what I have to do 

I get back to my chamber and prepared to leave .

If she loves someone then she should be happy with them, she loves him, and I can't take her happiness for the sake of mine, heck I don't even have right to take someone's happiness in cost of mine.

but it is said that destined love can never be forgotten.

I thought I would forget you but  I could not forget you and see  even now .. I  love you so much... love that it may not be threaded even in words, I know that I am not able to put my feelings in letters, I am  not able to get our feelings into letters, but I give you a promise that I will give you so much love that you would never have thought and along with love in my heart, There is a lot of respect for you .. more than love there is respect.

But I can have one hope right, that you will give me another chance, I will be broken if  i cannot have your love even when I am so close to you. I will be shattered. 

I know that your heart is broken, you are in pain, but I just want a chance to mend this broken heart of yours and fill this heart with love once again, but this time that love will be for me , I promise that I will keep our promise till death.

हमने सोचा था भुला देंगे आपको लेकिन नही भुला पाए और देखिये अब तलक आपसे प्रेम करते है इतना प्रेम कि शायद शब्दो मे भी ना पिरोया जा सके हम जानते है कि हम अपने भाव को अपनी भावनाओ को अक्षर मे नही पिरो पाते जाता नही पाते किंतु एक वचन देते है आपको आपको इतना प्रेम देंगे जितना आ[ने कभी सोचा भी नही होगा और प्रेम के साथ साथ हमारे हृदय मे आपके लिये बोहोत अधिक आदर है सम्मान है

लेकिन एक उम्मीद तो हम रख सकते है ना कि आप हमे एक और मौका देंगी हम टूट जाएंगे आत्मिका अगर आपके होके भी न हुए तो

हम जानते है कि आपका दिल टूटा है दर्द मे है आप किंतु हम तो बस एक मौका चाहते है आपके इस टूटे हुए दिल को जोड़ने के इस दिल मे एक बार फिर प्रेम भरने का लेकिन इस बार वो प्रेम हमारे लिये होगा हम वचन देते है कि अपना वचन मरते दम तक निभायेंगे

My thoughts broke when she entered descending from the stairs.. just looking like a goddess mine ... My goddess.. whom I am going to worship all my life .. she is attracting me  like a moth to  fire

I just love her .. and now when she is mine .. all mine and I am going to  save her from all the odds and shower ger all the love which she deserved.

She entered the mandap and sat beside me quietly.
She performed all the rituals .
And now it was time for feras

Ahil: "Om esha ekapadi bhava iti prathaman"
Aathmika: "Dhanam dhanyam pade vadet"

The first round of pheras is all about promising each other nourishment, prosperity, and happiness. The groom promises, "Om esha ekapadi bhava iti prathaman" which means that he would provide her happiness and food, and take care of her nourishment. The bride complies by enchanting "Dhanam dhanyam pade vadet." She promises to look after him and his family and pledges to share responsibilities by helping him look after the home, food, and finances.

Ahil : "Om oorje jara dastayaha"
Aathmika : Kutumburn rakshayishyammi sa aravindharam"

In the second phera, the couple prays to God for physical and mental strength to lead a blissful life. The groom recites "Om oorje jara dastayaha" to seek strength from the god so that they can protect their house and children'. The bride reciprocates by saying "Kutumburn rakshayishyammi sa aravindharam" which means that she will be by his side as his courage and strength at every step in life, and encourage him in all his ventures. In return, she asks the groom to love her solely.

Ahil : "Om Rayas Santu Joraa Dastayaha"
Aathmika : "Tava Bhakti as Vadedvachacha"

In the third phera, the couple prays to God for wealth and the bride promises that she would be loyal in this matrimonial union. The groom vows, "Om Rayas Santu Joraa Dastayaha,"  which means, "I will work hard to become wealthy, provide good education to our children and prays that may our children live long." On the other hand, the bride promises to her husband that she will love him devotedly and all other men will be secondary to her. She enchants, "Tava Bhakti as Vadedvachacha."

Ahil : "Om Mayo Bhavyas Jaradastaya ha"
Aathmika : "Lalayami Cha Pade Vadet"

In the fourth phera, the couple vows to shower each other with immense happiness and respect. The groom thanks his wife by saying, "Om Mayo Bhavyas Jaradastaya ha" which means that he is thankful to his bride for making his life sacred and beautiful. He further prays that may they be blessed with obedient children. In return, the bride promises the groom that she will shower him with joy and happiness from head to toe. She recites, "Lalayami Cha Pade Vadet."

Ahil: "Om Prajabhayaha Santu Jaradastayaha"
Aathmika :  "Arte Arba Sapade Vadet"

The fifth phera is taken to beget obedient & noble children, and to pray for the couple together prays for the welfare of all living entities in the universe. They also make individual promises to each other to lead a loveful life. The groom recites, "Om Prajabhayaha Santu Jaradastayaha" and declares his wife as his best friend and his dearest well-wisher. He expresses gratitude for her enriching presence in his life and hence seeks blessings for her from the god. On the other hand, the bride promises to trust and love him until her last breath. She also pronounces that his happiness will be her happiness. The fifth phera the bride takes is, "Arte Arba Sapade Vadet."

Ahil: "Rutubhyah shat padi bhava"
Aathmika : "Yajna Hom Shashthe Vacho Vadet"

In the sixth phera, the groom asks, "Rutubhyah shat padi bhava," that translates to "You have filled my heart with immense happiness by taking these six steps with me. Will you fill my heart with happiness by walking with me like this forever?" To this, the bride replies, "Yajna Hom Shashthe Vacho Vadet," which means "I will stand by you forever and always keep you happy."

Ahil: "Om Sakhi Jaradastayahga"
Aathmika : "Attramshe Sakshino Vadet
Pade"

In the seventh and the last step together, the couple seals the bond and promise to be faithful companions. The groom declares each other as man and wife by reciting, "Om Sakhi Jaradastayahga."  He also promises to his wife "I am yours and you are mine for eternity." The bride accepts this proclamation and says, "Attramshe Sakshino Vadet Pade". This means, "As God is the witness, I am your wife now. We will love, honor and cherish each other forever."

Aren't these vows absolutely soul-stirring?

My  conscience questioned me

It was all soulful and so overwhelming for me I was on cloud nine .. marrying her was the reason of my wide smile .
It turned more wide when I heard her reciting vows and knowing the meaning of vows.

Now it was time for sindoor daan .

I fill her partition with the red vermillion

and a generous amount of vermillion  fell on her nose.

she smiled. she. fucking. smiled.

All mine

Now no one can seperate you from me

अब हम आपको नहीं जाने देंगे कभी भी नहीं अब आप साथ जन्म के लिए हमारी हैं सिर्फ हमारी

(Now I  will not let you go anywhere, never ever. Now you are with me for 7 births , only mine .)
