Heer's Pov

The days passed like wind

all the functions were enjoyed till the last breath of exhaustion and today its our wedding

I was getting ready, and was sitting quietly

"Is it finally hitting?"

The MUA asked as a tear was about to slip and I nodded, Shrishti stepped inside

"Oyy ki hua?, Ek hi to ghar hai, phir kyu ro rahi hai??"

Shrishti said and I giggled

"Oh yes! mai to bhul hi gayi thi, Mam you continue"

and then I sat happily getting ready, after I was done, I called Bhai and Bhabhi that we are ready to go.

and as my brother came inside, his mouth opened in astonishment

Yayy I am looking pretty!!

"She is not my sister, where is my sister, she can't be this beautiful"

and as these worlds left from this bitch's mouth, I slap at his chest, meanwhile he hugged me laughingly.

My bhabhi came close, putting kala tika on me, she joined the hug

"where's Shri?"

Bhai asked about Shristi 

"She left a while ago, Baraat was leaving for Gurudware"

I reasoned and then we all left to the gurudware

I was accompanied by my Bhai and Bhabhi.

As I entered I look at Anhad watching me, staring precisely, with his eyes wide open

I reached him and I saw his eyes filling

"Don't cry please"

these words just left my mouth and a lone tear escape his eyes.

He held me close to him, I reciprocated the hug

"Bohot tadpa hu Heeri mai, vo 6 mahine, ye sochke ki tu meri kabhi nahi hogi, lekin ab jab ye sb ho raha hai, I, I am overwhelmed"

He said pulling away, I pull his head down and place a soft kiss on his forehead, meanwhile he closed his eyes to feel it.

"Ab hamesha tumhe mere nakhre natak jhelne padenge, complaint na karna"

I said with my own eyes filling tears

"bas ye hi nakhro ke liye to jeena hai muje, and you don't cry okay, maine makeup nahi kiya but you've did it, it'll ruin"

He said lightly wiping my tears, not smudging the make up.

Then we were said to sit and the ceremony started

After the laavans, sindoor and mangalsutra

We were declared Husband and wife

He stood up and then gave me his hand to get up, because the lehnga was so damn heavy.

you all guess what, the sindoor fell on my nose, Yayyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We both sat in the car, with Kiaan bhai , Roshni bhabhi.

and the others came in different cars.

My eyes were turning droopy, Anhad put my head on his shoulder, I wiggled to get up, but he held it in place

"Leave na, I'll sleep if I stay like this"

I whispered lightly, while he smiled and kissed my forehead

"It'll take half an hour to reach, sleep till then"

He said softly, and I slept

duh! what do you expect from a bride, who's barely getting any sleep due to these festivities

After the roka, it was like Mehndi Sangeet both on one day

then another day it was jagoo, today morning it was haldi, and the wedding, its evening right now, the time we'll reach home will be 5 , and the reception starts 8 pm

Also tomorrow we are leaving too

where? honeymoon

Place? my Fiance- eh! Husband didn't tell me saying its a surprise

So yeah , No suhaag-raat and No rest.

What! I will not be shy at all

and as Anhad said, he woke me up.

I was cranky , because that's how I am when I don't get enough sleep, but I conceal it in the excitement of post marital ritual.

As we were on the door, My mumma took me first to our wing of the Mansion, we did the bidaai ritual

Yeah the bidaai where no one shed even a tear

Then I was taken to his side of wing, where Maithili mumma did our Aarti and then ask me to lightly kick the kalash

Yess! this is the moment I practiced so much for, Ace it Heer

What! I mean , Can't embarrass myself just one second after being married.

I then leave my Alta imprints on the white cloth.

Then after a few chits chats, while mumma's were preparing for the ritual, we sat for another ritual

It was the ring one

So , what happened was

first round was won by me

Yey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

second round was won by him

uh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but the third round was won by both of us.

So its like we both won 1.5 rounds.

it was 6:30 by which we were done, then we were asked to take rest till 7 , as the MUA's arrive till 7.

We all were sat in the living room of Malhotra's, while the elders were looking after the preparation of reception.

Anhad's head was on my lap, he was very tired

why? because he's running basically for all the preparation

Being the elder child sucks

Muje kya mai to sabse choti hu!!

I lightly caressed his hair

"Anny, utho na, I need to change"

As I said this , his eyes opened and he nodded and get up.

I start to go but before I could shrishti interrupted

"How will you do it alone?"

"to tu chal na, baithi kya hai"

I replied to her

while she signal at bharat

"Abhi nahi , mai bohot thak gyi hu"

Acha bacchu!! ye baat hai

"Anny ko le jaa na"

Kiaan bhai suggested, and Anhad got up, we both head to his- OUR room

I entered and a feeling of familiarity washed over me, this is Our room, where we are going to spend all of our lives.

I was in my thoughts about the upcoming life, and I was engulfed by my husband, in a back hug

Husband- Ah!!!!!!!

He placed a kiss on my neck

My eyes dripped tears, tears of his longing in love

I still remember, days after I left from here, after whatever you said, I had this one book and the first page had a quote, it said

You know what , it made me realise, ki tu nahi hai vaha par , phir bhi tuje yaad kar raha tha mai, phir bhi I felt ki tu vahi hai

That quote made me realize the depth of my love for you.

then I turned the page, the second page also had a quote, it was like

'Ranjha Ranjha , Heer japdi fire

Phir bhi na Miliya

and I didn't wanted this to happen, mai nahi chahta tha ki ham bichad jaye or phir mai ye sochu ki mera itna pyar karne baad bhi muje tu nahi mili, te mere galti se ya rab di, ya kismat di

or Isiliye mai vaapis aaya Heer, for us, ki maybe there's still a chance, and I thank Waheguru for it, every single second in a day

That he made me come here, or muje meri Heer mili

or Ant me iss Heer or Ranjhe ko Happily ever after mila"

He stopped his words, his face was strained with tears, mirroring mine, but still we both chuckled at the end

"heer hu na tumhari, apne ranjhe ko pyaar karna kaise chd sakti hu"

I said and hugged him tight, he reciprocated with the tightest hug

It was all ,  we felt all, the longing, love, pain

but what stood among all was, our love, aur hamari pyar ki zid
